I am a PhD student at University of Toronto under guidance of Prof. Qizhen Zhang and a member of FDL group. CV

Iā€™m particularly interested in databases, especially when the data volume reaches the scale of big data. Challenges in this domain, such as networking, workload placement, hardware acceleration, and anything that helps in optimizing data analysis performance, are the kinds of problems Iā€™m most excited to tackle. My interests in data is not limited to the mentioned subjects and Iā€™m open to any research related to data and making using data easier and faster, so feel free to reach out!

My current primary research focus is on accelerating database queries by leveraging modern accelerators, such as FPGAs and GPUs, to offload computational tasks from the CPU. This approach aims to maximize performance and optimize the utilization of available computing resources.
